Established in 1928 by Sir OLIVO TOFFOLI, our undertaking has taken its first steps in the production of rooted cuttings, later it included also floriculture and poplar-growing. The undertaking, which has been managed since the 50s by his son Aldo, the present chairman of the company, has progressively widened its activity to ornamental plants; then, in the early 60s, a branch has been founded in Pistoia. This town has been chosen because it is considered by the people operating in this sector the European leader in the growing of conifers and all kinds of ornamental plants. At present, "Vivai Olivo Toffoli" covers a surface of about 60 hectares, situated between Pordenone, Azzano Decimo and Pistoia. The production ranges from the flower-pots to different specimens of plants, thus satisfying not only the private customer but also the public sector and the professional, because "Vivai Olivo Toffoli" offers advice and services before and after the purchase: before, because we have a technical office, run by Dr. Maurizio Toffoli, who supervises the planning of green areas; after, because there is a service, which provides for private and public parks, with regard to mowing, trimming and plant protection.
