Major Projects

The Vivai Olivo Toffoli Company was established in 1928 and has more than 80 years of experience in the field of horticulture, arboriculture and poplar cultivation. Our company is active in Italy and throughout Europe, with our Headquarters being located in Azzano Decimo, in the Province of Pordenone. In Pistoia we operate an important subsidiary, which is considered to be the most important production facility for ornamental plants among industry experts.

In co-operation with the most important building firms in both Italy and Europe, we employ professionalism and well-founded expert knowledge when working on the implementation of major projects, such as private and commercial parcelling, hotels, residential complexes, parks, leisure complexes and forestation projects. Major projects we have already implemented include San Rocco Port in Trieste, the NATO base in Aviano (Pordenone), the forestation project in Piancavallo (Pordenone) and various holiday complexes on the Adriatic Coast (Bibione, Jesolo and Lignano, Caorle, etc…).

Each project is implemented following an initial, detailed check-up to examine and check the climatic conditions, as well as the physical and chemical soil characteristics. It is then planned and organised over the course of the following phases:

  • Visits for a visual inspection of the current situation
  • Preliminary plan with a detailed cost estimate for the required expenditure
  • Implementation plan
  • The final implementation phase

A team of highly qualified experts, such as planners, landscape architects, designers, engineers, consultants, tradespeople and technicians works together to create green spaces with a great visual and emotional impact. The application of state-of-the-art technologies in the field of multimedia-based design engineering, as well as the virtual creation of images and 3D videos for the project to be implemented, provide a realistic overview of the final results as early as the initial planning phases.
